PODS misrepresented what fits in a pod.

PODS - Portable On Demand Storage complaint by Emontalvo
Pods claims that a 8x16 foot container fits an approximate 3-4 rooms. We booked one only to find out that we could not fit 3 rooms worth of furniture. We had one bedroom, 1 living room set and 1 kitchen (no hutch and only 1 appliance). Pods would not own up to misrepresentation and allow for a small discount in order for us to get a small uhaul for the overage. Additionally, they wanted to charge us $1700 for a small 8x6 container so we could accommodate the overage. Bad form! I asked what they consider a room and not any of the 3 people I spoke with could give me a size. Uhaul's 24 footer claims it can fit 3-4 rooms. Between the 2 companies, there is a discrepancy of 8 feet...big difference!
